They herd the golden butterflies, so fearless and so free,
Running on their sturdy legs, as happy as can be.

Until suddenly, one stops—and perks an ear so high,
They catch your familiar scent beneath the starry sky.
They see you walking toward them, their true and favorite friend,
And as they sprint into your arms, the waiting finds its end.
